This Act gives legal recognition to the threats faced by us on the vast cyberspace better known as the Internet.

A lot of documentation today is in the electronic format and Digital Signatures help to establish the identity of the sender. Online transactions such as Income Tax E-Filing, Company or LLP Incorporation, Filing of Income Tax Returns etc are validated using DSC.
